I’m Joshua Ward. I work in DevOps and I care about the craft of building systems that are reliable, maintainable, and actually pleasant for the people who have to use and operate them.
This site is where I document what I’m building, what I’m learning, and what I think. Some of it is structured reference material for tools and projects I’ve published. Some of it is longer articles where I share opinions on tools, tradeoffs, and how the industry approaches problems. TILs are the smaller things worth writing down so I don’t have to rediscover them.
The content is aimed at DevOps, SRE, and platform engineers who live in the space between writing software and running it.
If something here saved you time or made you think about a problem differently, that’s the point.
You can find me on GitHub and LinkedIn, or take a look at my resume.
